Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Operations (Endpoint & Mobility)

About the role:

Takeda is seeking a Senior Manager, within Cybersecurity Operations, focused on Endpoint & Mobility protection. Join Takeda as a Senior Manager, CyberSecurity Operations (Endpoint & Mobility) where you will be instrumental in helping drive endpoint and mobility protection, architecture and design that enables efficient and secure operations and should be comfortable leading global security assurance initiatives in a highly dynamic environment. As part of the Cybersecurity Operations Team, you will report to Head of Cybersecurity Operations.

How you will contribute:

  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of Takeda's endpoint and mobility service capabilities and enhance these capabilities as needed to enable and support services

  • Manage a dynamic lifecycle of integrating, operating, and retiring cybersecurity capabilities as needed to support evolving organizational requirements and oversee project delivery to ensure effective capabilities

  • Manage a global team providing L3 cybersecurity endpoint and mobility protection services

  • Provide expert subject matter expertise and best practices for endpoint and mobility protection

  • Research, evaluate, implement, and maintain new technologies, processes, standards, and guidelines

  • Engage and support stakeholders by providing subject matter expertise to IT / business teams and defining / communicating service capabilities with success metrics

  • Mentor less senior cybersecurity operations resources

  • Ensure high quality and timely service delivery

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience leading cybersecurity operations services

  • Direct experience with endpoint and mobility protection environments

  • Experience developing and maintaining service operations performance measures

  • Awareness of and experience leveraging industry best practices for endpoint and mobility protection

  • Up-to-date experience with endpoint and mobility protection and related technologies.

  • Project management experience translating architectural designs into operational solutions

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of endpoint and mobility protection methods

  • Good social, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Understanding of data attack vectors and how they are leveraged by malicious actors

  • Quickly adapts to changing events, re prioritizing efforts, and realign resources as needed

  • Translates complex technical information into terms and products useful to management

  • Willingness to be on-call, work non-standard hours, and travel (up to 10%) when required

  • Comfortable working in high stress and complex environments

  • Fluent English language skills (verbal/written)

Desired Skills:

  • Experience deploying & managing global industry-leading endpoint and mobility protection solutions

  • Experience working within a validated environment (21 CFR Part 11)

  • Strong knowledge of endpoint and mobility protection best practices

  • Strong knowledge of analytics and metrics generation

  • Working knowledge of anti-virus/EDR and MDM for mobile device best practices

  • Effective time, prioritization, and workload management skills

  • Programming / scripting experience supporting orchestration and automation

  • Experience with a global or multi-tiered organizations

Education:

  • Industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, SANS GIAC or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or the equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience (Master’s degree considered a plus)
