Senior Manager, Visual Content Designer (remote)
BlueVoyant is seeking a passionate, innovative Visual Content Designer with a great blend of design, storyboarding, narrative and technical skills and background to lead BlueVoyant’s visual communications and storytelling activities. The role requires strong familiarity with cybersecurity and Information technology concepts and technologies coupled with experience converting highly technical content into customer and market-facing material to drive BlueVoyant’s offerings and value proposition in easy-to-understand ways. This is a senior-level, individual contributor role.
● Oversee design and execution of BlueVoyant’s brand● Ideate and develop easy-to-understand, scalable infographics, illustrations, web content, and iconography from complex cybersecurity themes and concepts that bring BlueVoyant’s brand and capabilities to life through compelling visual communications to drive BlueVoyant’s value.● Create intuitive visual content that supports Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales (direct and channel), and Customer Success priorities and activities● Create presentation templates for internal and external marketing communications materials. This includes brochures, pitch decks, datasheets, etc● Create customer and partner welcome kits based on technical documentation in close coordination with technical teams within BlueVoyant.● Constantly maintain and enforce brand guidelines for fresh digital touchpoints, updating and refining as BlueVoyant continues to grow into new markets, partnerships, etc● Assist with outreach and collaboration with partners and stakeholders for content creation to better enable the BlueVoyant and partner sales teams.● Oversee outreach and collaboration with partners and stakeholders for content creation and manage relationships.● Collaborate with peers and global stakeholders to ensure high-quality, cohesive creative deliverables that are well-documented and ready for execution
● Experience working at an agency supporting cybersecurity companies or at another cybersecurity company.● Has a passion for technology and cybersecurity.● 5+ years of design experience● Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other commonly used tools and software.● Bachelor’s degree in design (ie. Fine Arts/Graphic Design/Visual Communications/Advertising or similar) or equivalent professional experience.● Portfolio, preferably online, demonstrating excellence in visual communication, creativity, and compelling storytelling● Excellent communication skills and ability to effortlessly convey complex concepts● Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and copywriters and cross-functional teams to take ideas from concept to creation – as well as taking the lead on projects● Strong ability to translate technical concepts and diagrams into easy-to-understand graphics geared towards buyers.● Strong organizational skills, web expertise, intrinsic design ability, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail● Able to independently manage your own work queue, handle end-to-end design processes, related tools, and proactively engage managers and stakeholders when needed● A self-directed, goal-oriented personality that works well under pressure; manages competing priorities and consistently delivers high-quality work that improves the overall creative● Deep knowledge of the latest trends and best practices for e-commerce, social media, and web design
