Chewy Senior Oracle Cloud Functional Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Functional Consultant to join our Finance Technology Team based in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle EBS functional development discipline with transition to Oracle Cloud specializing in the Procure to Pay end to end process, Inventory Costing and Financials. The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision a fast paced, rapid growth environment and actively participate as a member of a high performance Agile SCRUM team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop Oracle ERP functional configuration solutions to defined business requirements

  • Create new functional workflows/configurations to support new business verticals

  • Work directly with business partners to build and document requirements for new business initiatives enhancements to existing functionality

  • Perform gap analysis between current Oracle ERP Cloud functionality and business requirements

  • Perform QA on configuration development for other team members in support of streamlined functional SDLC

  • Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies and sprints in an Agile development team

  • Own and maintain Oracle ERP configuration development scripts

  • Train other team members on Oracle ERP Cloud capabilities and configuration development

  • Manage Oracle quarterly patch cycle and P2T smoke testing and new feature implementation

  • Manage Oracle Service Requests (Bug fixes/enhancement requests)


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelors Degree or working experience equivalent

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management and Financial business processes

  • 5+ years experience with developing Oracle EBS SCM/FIN functional solutions

  • 2+ years experience with developing Oracle cloud functional solutions in Procurement, Inventory Management, Product Hub, \u0026amp;nbsp;Costing and Financial modules

  • Experience in 2+ Oracle Cloud Financials or SCM Implementations

  • Strong analytics and communications skills (e.g., math, statistics, quantitative methods, and verbal and writing proficiency).

  • Experience communicating and working directly with manager/director level business stakeholders

  • Functional Understanding of Oracle Cloud Financials module development and solutions architecture

  • Experience developing FBDI templates and uploads for data conversions and batch imports

  • One or more Oracle Cloud Module Certifications in SCM or Finance Modules


  • Experience in functional configuration of Vertex OSeries

  • Experience writing Oracle SQL and generating reports with OTBI/BI Publisher
