The Role

We are seeking an energetic Product Manager who is an exceptional team player, to join our Cloud Security group to help expand our Zero Trust Access and our Web Security solutions. If you’re a self-starter, reformed developer and a natural leader, who enjoys engaging customers, orchestrating the launch of features and security products and at the same time rolling up your sleeves, getting into technical details and design, while doing whatever is necessary to deliver, selling both to customer and to internal stake-holders - you should continue reading.

Your day-to-day

• Engage with Proofpoint’s customers, sales and sales engineering teams

• Create and manage the product roadmap

• Manage project execution, define schedules and release plans based on a strategic market/business view

• Define the product priorities through understanding of customers’ needs and company vision

• Drive product development with the engineering team and UI/UX designers

• Manage and drive external contractors

• Define user stories, lead sprint planning and backlog management in partnership with the engineering team to ensure quality on-time feature delivery

• Research market & industry trends, demand drivers, customer needs and competitive landscape

• Engage with Proofpoint’s customers, sales and sales engineering teams

What you bring to the team

• Demonstrated experience in product management with a high-paced, agile, software-as-a-service product

• Experience with leading customer facing activities

• Experience with Networking and/or Internet Security – advantage

• Strong R&D background with a meaningful development experience

• Experience working in the enterprise, B2B, SaaS and cloud

• Strong hands-on UX capabilities

• Computer science degree

• Strong technical, analytical orientation and strong problem solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Accountable, self-motivated and work autonomously
