Oracle Senior Program Manager for Fusion Fleet Management in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

Oracle’s Fusion applications bring consistent processes across the most important business functions - from enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, human capital management to advertising and customer experience, - all on an integrated Cloud platform. You will be a driver for bringing business critical initiatives to the Oracle cloud at large scale. We are looking for a highly organized and detailed oriented individual to operate in a role that is responsible for defining, maintaining and enforcing policies to manage Fusion applications fleet. You will work collaboratively with product teams and drive the adoption of fleet policies across the organization. In-depth knowledge of Fusion applications development processes is vital to the success of this role. Ability to write clear, succinct proposals/policies and communicate effectively to key stakeholders across Fusion applications organization is expected of this role. The ability to understand changes to product capabilities is also important. Key skills required for this role are:

  • Strong process skills, both formulating processes and executing to them

  • Experience with and understanding of how a large scale cloud fleet operates

  • Ability to bring various organizations together to achieve project goals

  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on data.

  • Expertise is Oracle tools and processes, specially as they relate to fleet operations

  • Ability to speak to various audiences about the strategy and execution plan related to fleet initiatives

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead fleet rollout of multiple initiatives to deliver value to our customers and the business

  • Develop and manage overall program requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables with engineering teams

  • Create and run project timelines with clear dependencies, critical paths and systematic methodology to communicate status

  • Provide hands-on management and day to day coordination for fleet activities.

  • Perform risk assessment, risk mitigation and change management on projects

  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

  • Analyze fleet policy needs and submit proposals to meet these needs.

  • Drive consensus across groups with varying opinions & needs. Influence teams around a common purpose and drive conference on the plan of execution

  • Provide clear, timely and objective communication, including regular program status updates and one-off reviews as needed to executive team

  • Keep an eye on any potential gaps across teams and proactively promote regular communications on common source of truth

  • Lead measurements to help team understand and measure success

To be successful in this role:

  • Experience related to Oracle Fusion Applications fleet operations is a huge plus

  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Applications development tools and processes

  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Applications

  • 5+ years of experience in driving large scale programs

  • Excellent management skills including program structuring and managing multiple work streams interdependently

  • Experience moving technical or engineering programs from inception to delivery, articulating the impact using metrics.

  • Organizational and project coordination skills along with multitasking experience to get things done in an ambiguous and fast paced environment.

  • Effective communication skills including communication for various leadership levels

  • Strong ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly, run comprehensive yet succinct project status update to all levels of audience, both verbally and in written forms

  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team to develop solutions.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, overcoming pushback and obstacles to secure stakeholder commitment to drive results and deliverables

  • Experience with and understand of SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JDBC, Python, JavaScript/HTML, Restful Web services, XML

  • Experience with and understanding of Micro-Services architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in software development.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

Canada: Hiring Range from $58,100 to $126,000 CAD per annum

US: Hiring Range: from $74,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
