Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
You will lead and contribute to on-going initiatives for our continued journey to SaaS. Specifically:
Manage design and execution of strategic GTM programs, projects, and initiatives
Manage cross-functional stakeholder engagement to drive integration and alignment across GTM functions and business units
Support VMware annual planning and half-year planning update activities to bring BUs, Geos, and functional teams together in plan development and execution
Help develop and deliver strategic priorities across the WW Sales Strategy & Acceleration (WWSSA) organization
Lead and operationalize enablement activities in collaboration with the revenue enablement team
Manage requirements documentation, timelines, shared materials, and meeting cadences for programs
Maintain and communicate program updates, and performance scorecards
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
You will work collaboratively to design, deploy, and/or manage GTM programs on a worldwide basis.
Engage with cross-functional teams (BUs, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Partners/Alliances, Finance, Business Ops) to drive strategic and operational initiatives
Prioritize and ensure completion of specific deliverables and tactical initiatives required to support assigned programs. Identify, call out and ensure resolution of issues impacting successful execution of programs
Conduct data analyses to track program success, and provide insight to inform decisions for program optimization
Responsible for documentation, communication, enablement, and governance of any applicable processes and/or assets within programs
Work closely with internal stakeholders and field to continuously evaluate program strength, opportunities for improvement, sales adoption, etc.
Support building and review of executive decks; gather, distribute and follow-up on action items from key executive meetings
Manage a communications/feedback process with key stakeholders
8+ years’ experience in a global software and SaaS Sales strategy, planning and/or operations role with program management focus
Strong program management skills, attention to details and execution focused
Highly motivated, self-starter, strategic/analytical thinker with a “can-do” attitude, flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs and a keen eye for details
Relationship building and change management skills to ensure optimal adoption of our programs and processes
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand account/territory planning, customer engagement and sales methodologies and processes
Experience with Salesforce.com and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau
Experience working in a matrix organization with ability to engage and influence individuals at various levels to drive results
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The Hiring Manager for this role is the Senior Director, WW GTM Strategy and is based in Palo Alto. The GTM strategy team is composed of ex-consultants and strategy professionals with expertise in strategy development and transformation in high-tech organizations. The team is empowered to collaborate with a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders to quickly drive results and impact.
The overall Corporate Intelligence, Integrated Business Planning, and GTM Strategy team has 20+ team members in various locations in the US.
