Digital Security & Resilience (DSR) group is a division of Microsoft Security, Compliance, Identity and Management Engineering . DSR supports the company’s overall security mission by providing key security services that help protect systems, services, data and users. The Data Intelligence team is a fun, dynamic, supportive community of data scientists, analysts, software engineers and security subject matter experts who are committed for providing Data Science and Analytics Services across all DSR.

We are looking for a seasoned and driven Senior Program Manager to help lead the efforts of the Data Intelligence team and be an integral part of its growth and transformation. The successful candidate for this role will have strong customer obsession, superlative planning abilities, exemplary communication skills, strong out-of-the-box thinking, and high emotional intelligence. You will work with a small and cohesive team of data (Scientists, Analysts and Software Engineers) experts, who are eager for you to step in and effectively channel their creative energies to maximize business impact. Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and communicate their requirements

  • Evaluate and ensure customer success throughout the service lifecycle to drive adoption

  • Create and manage the roadmap for the team’s deliverables; prioritize competing projects

  • Thoroughly understand the service offerings and identify ways to improve them

  • Define the rhythm of business for the team to establish and optimize cadence of delivery

  • Define and drive KPIs to better align priorities and investment with business outcomes

  • Build and manage the ecosystem of key partners and a model to optimally engage them

  • Overcome obstacles by resolving teamwork issues, regardless of team boundaries

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience and skills required:

  • 8+ years’ experience in program, project or product management, or equivalent experience managing complex cross-organizational initiatives

  • 8+ years’ experience with agile program management

Preferred, not required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, story-telling and public speaking skills

  • Ability to diplomatically manage multiple stakeholders with conflicting agendas & priorities

  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive to completion

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to solve hard problems

  • Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with data-analysis

  • Experience in one or more digital security domains

  • PMP or PMI-ACP certifications is a plus

  • Master’s degree in science, engineering, business, or a related discipline

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Statistics/Math/Computer Science/Economics/Business or Engineering
