Microsoft Corporation Senior Program Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Digital Security & Resilience, Office of the CTO is currently looking for a Senior Program Manager. In this role, you will collaborate with several partner organizations to help ensure that the right security features & products are rolled out across Microsoft. With your PM expertise, you'll work to lower the risk to our enterprise and ensure that we measure the impact of these features. Your ability to set well-defined KPIs and OKRs to focus the team, prioritize incoming requests, and clearly communicate our plan with partners and customers will be vital to the team’s success. You will also develop and deliver concise and goal-driven presentations to senior management on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Envison and implement success metrics & OKRs and delivery plans

  • Drive implementation in close partnership with engineering teams, including prioritization

  • Gain trust and influence broad stakeholders including engineering teams, partner orgs and peers

  • Manage risks and implement mitigation strategies

  • Report progress in objective and concise formats to senior management, while providing recommendations to accelerate progress.

  • Creatively resolve blocking issues, and innovate to resolve pain points.

  • Deliver technical and high-level data-driven presentations to internal and external audiences

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience and skills required:

  • 8+ years of experience working as an information security professional, technical program manager or similar engineering role.

  • 6+ years working in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security architectures.

  • 6+ years of experience and working understanding of cloud-scale technologies.

Preferred, not required:

  • Proven competency in strategic leadership, organizational agility, cross-team collaboration, drive for results, and written and verbal communications

  • Experience driving large, complex software programs and solutions with large virtual teams

  • Proven ability to build successful partnerships and drive complex cross-group collaboration

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, experience with presentations to senior leadership teams as well as customers

  • Passion for strategic thinking, making data-driven decisions and driving innovation.

  • Ability to apply creativity, critical thinking and be solution-oriented in a dynamic working environment
