What you'll do:
Write clean, efficient Apex code based on requirements provided by our Product team
Contribute to the improvement of our system using nTier architecture and established design patterns
Troubleshoot, and debug existing software
Integrate third-party software into our existing platform
Estimate effort and completion time for projects
Participate in team training sessions to develop new skills
Work within established development and deployment processes
Manage the demands of the ongoing release cycle (we release daily)
Share your experience with other developers to strengthen and expand their skills
We're looking for someone who has:
Minimum of five years of experience programming in the Salesforce ecosystem, primarily with Apex.
Understanding of common design principles as implemented with Apex that results in modular, reusable, and testable code.
Ability to contribute to the design process of the pending re-architecture of our system
Is excited by the idea of not having to deal with front-end code
A deep desire to continuously improve at the craft of programming
Experience with the git version control system
Consumption or development of public APIs
Ability to maintain a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers
Ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control or planning of activities
Patience and communication skills to lead and mentor others
Systems thinking skills to conceptualize problems broadly and define solutions that will be performant and supportable
