WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will work alongside a team of global solutions architects. A solutions architect ensures any new solution fits into the existing Enterprise Architecture framework, from a business, user and technical perspective. The solutions architect typically has a background in systems development, is a superior communicator and has inherent project and resource management skills.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

The role is responsible for technical ownership of enterprise software products supporting business capabilities. The role provides technical guidance and support to members of both business and development teams on technology selection, vendor partnerships, product implementation, support and continual improvement. They partner with internal and external technical delivery teams during the product lifecycle and also prepare and maintain technology and architecture roadmaps. This. position is for a solutions architect to support the CRM (Customer relationship Management) business capability being implemented on the Salesforce platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Have deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM in all functional and technical areas. Will help implement the architecture framework, development and implementation guidelines for a Salesforce/CRM implementation in Bain & Company. Will work on the tasks in Customization and Configuration of the Dynamics CRM Application.

  • Will be responsible for analysis, development and maintenance of the Salesforce CRM platform. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of CRM entities, workflows, configuration (including UI / form development – web + unified client interface), security, reporting / dashboards, custom development (including Field Service + Unified Service Desk), web resources, data integrations, and CRM solution file management.

  • Will integrate external systems (Azure, O365, SharePoint, Exchange/Outlook, on-prem databases etc.) with Salesforce

  • Will configure and implement CRM functional and application modules, encompassing account, contact management and lead management.

  • Will identify, document, and communicate CRM configuration and development best practices to stakeholder teams. Will assist in training end users on CRM usability and customizations as well as performing performance analysis.

  • Will Build/Maintain MSCRM Integrations to Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook and third-party applications using Scribe and CRM Webservices.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field of study. Advanced degree in software engineering or related field of study preferred.

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Salesforce technical architecture role

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce fundamental architecture, object model, data and security model, along with solid experience in Salesforce reporting and dashboards

  • Salesforce release management, source control, and continuous delivery configuration knowledge

  • End to end implementation experience with Sales Cloud and Salesforce platform

  • Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Lightning platform

  • A strong understanding of the sales CRM and technology landscape – best practices, implementation and integration; ability to leverage experience to deliver analytics and insights in support of growth

  • Experience building, implementing and/or supporting web-based applications using HTML, XML, CSS, C#, .NET, JavaScript or similar technologies

  • Experience working in an enterprise level Microsoft Active Directory/Windows server environment

  • Experience with MSSQL Server or similar relational database technology with focus on strong query and analytic skills using TSQL or similar language

  • Working experience with IaaS and PaaS cloud solutions in Azure or AWS

  • Experience with Elastic search or similar search platform

  • Strong analytical, research, problem solving and evaluative thinking skills.

  • Strong communication skills - including ability to listen to the needs of others and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present effectively in both oral and written presentations to all levels in the organization

  • Ability to think long term and big picture, and to connect tactical solutions to a long-term plan

  • Ability to bring together individuals with different perspectives and opinions, and drive toward a common goal.

  • Ability to address critical and high-profile problems quickly and effectively working across teams and with all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced Salesforce configuration skills, including custom objects, workflows, Flows, Process builder, and Lightning App Builder

  • High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification

  • A Background in a professional services organization strongly preferred

  • Understanding of Advanced Analytics including visualization tools as PowerBI, Tableau

  • Understanding of Data Governance best practices

  • Exposure to machine learning and RPA

  • Experience or familiarity with implementing mobile solutions
