Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and modify web services software using standard frameworks and programming languages, including .NET and C#

  • Analyze user needs and develop customized software solutions

  • Build services targeted at making building design data available to other services as part of an agile development team

  • Define and create back-end core services that ensure the data of building design professionals is secure, durable, and always availableleveraging the latest tools and techniques for building services hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Product Design, Quality Assurance (QA), and other developers to understand, refine ambiguous functional requirements and through research and development deliver production ready working software with minimal guidance

  • Work across internal groups within the division, as well as external partners and customers, on the evaluation, assessment, and prototyping of new technologies

  • Work with individuals and groups within the division to achieve common goals

  • Document system and application architectures

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)

  • You have 5 years of software engineering-related experience

  • You have 5 years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Interacting with product owners, customers, 3rd party developers and QA to define and documents client needs and feature requirements, identifying and resolving product defects daily

  • Building high quality software by designing for testability and using unit testing tools

  • Modern Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices, Software Configuration Management (SCM) using Git, TFS (Team Foundation Server) or P4 (Perforce) and DevOps (development operations)

  • Developing, documenting, prototyping and debugging software in C#, C , JavaScript or other standard languages

  • Automating and customizing AutoCAD software platform to increase suitability for use in specialized areas of design (e.g. structural design) using Autodesk Computer-Aided Design (CAD) programming tools such as Object ARX/DBX, Open Media Framework (OMF), AutoCAD ActiveX API, and RealDWG

  • You have 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Creating, modifying, and translating dedicated representations for building design elements, including their associated properties and design intent using Autodesk Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools such as Revit, Revit Application Programming Interface (API), and Revit Industry Foundation Classes (IFC)

  • Working with SCRUM and AGILE methodologies for developing and managing projects

  • You have 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • Relational database management system (RDBMS) and NoSQL database technologies

  • Cloud/web-based software development
