Facebook Sourcing Manager, Software Engineering in Boston, Massachusetts

Summary:

Hiring the best builders requires the best recruiting minds to drive productivity and candidate engagement. As a Sourcing Manager, you will lead, develop, and inspire a team of sourcers and leaders to unlock their potential and deliver bar-raising results. In this role, you will partner closely with a community of recruiting leads/managers, sourcers, recruiters and program managers to drive world-class staffing practices and strategy and to achieve aggressive software engineering (SWE) hiring goals across North America. You will lead a team of and sourcers and Sourcing Leads.

Required Skills:

  1. Provide innovative, scalable solutions to drive our hiring to meet (SWE) business objectives

  2. Create innovative sourcing and closing strategies and ensure a high-touch candidate experience

  3. Facilitate and lead meetings and key initiatives with recruiting teams and client groups

  4. Help hire, build and onboard a team of sourcers

  5. Help hire, onboard and support Sourcing Leads

  6. Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team and the greater Core Software Engineering (SWE) recruiting team

  7. Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with recruiting management and key cross-functional stakeholders

  8. Compile & analyze data and metrics to support business decisions and plans

  9. Work with cross-functional partners and other leaders within the organization to strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of recruiting experience with technical and/or non-technical organizations

  2. 4+ years of experience managing a team of sourcers and/or recruiters

  3. 1+ years of experience managing a people manager

  4. Experience working in both pipeline- and requisition-based environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience leading technical sourcing teams

  2. Experience managing teams of 5+ direct reports
