The Role

As Sr. Analyst, Customer Reporting, you will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for customer reporting. You will lead the timely and accurate preparation of complex reports and dashboards while analyzing and interpreting of complex data to provide insights that will aid senior management in decision-making and drive achievement of business objectives. The role will lead the development of reports, models, and other technical tools that enhance positive relationships and ensure Lincolns success in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly communicates and documents assumptions, underlying reports & data, table structures, and processes/approach.

  • Consults with business users and/or external customers on complex requirements and translates into data and and/or reporting solutions.

  • Defines, designs and develops dashboards, scorecards, and interactive reports using applicable software and/or other tools.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal customers from across the business area to understand business needs; ensures timely and accurate reports, tables, and analysis to aid senior management in decision-making and support business objectives

  • Effectively collaborates across functional areas to ensure data governance and data alignment across various areas

  • Identifies and presents complex data trends to provide insight to management and other internal/external stakeholders. Advises on how to incorporate trend data when creating short and long-term plans.

  • Identifies differences among information sources and determines limitations on reliability and usability of reports to prepare conclusions and forecasts.

  • Leads and provides direction for the compilation, analysis, and interpretation of complex data summaries to support business goals and objectives for his/her area(s) of responsibility.

  • Leads data mining and the development, testing, and delivery of standard and advanced ad-hoc report requests for applicable internal/external stakeholders.

  • Leads innovation and development of complex new reporting elements and/or executable programs as well as updates existing database queries to provide new reports.

  • Leads the development of complex test plans and makes coding changes related to system changes that impact the data warehouse & reporting; leads validation of new reporting tools.

  • Mentors and provides direction to junior team members on technology initiatives and acquiring data to enhance the capability of the team.

  • Provides subject matter expertise on best practices for efficient data controls, storage, structure, and presentation of data to meet business user needs

  • Works with complex data structures to prepare data for standard and customized reports and analysis, updates recurring & ad hoc reports, models, and analyses as needed.

  • Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments / trends for assigned area(s) or responsibility, assess the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.ADDITIONAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Education & Experience

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)in (Minimum Required)

  • 5 - 7+ Years experience in reporting and/or data analysis directly related to the specific responsibilities of this role (Required)
