Channel Sales is responsible for managing Microsoft's commercial partners as well as leading initiatives and programs globally that enable partners to build IP, services and profitable businesses, and deliver solutions that empower customers to digitally transform their companies and realize greater business value through the use of technology.

Why We Need You:

We are looking for a highly-motivated individual to join the Channel Sales team to focus on Partner Experience and Program Management in the areas of (1) end-to-end Support Operations (2) cross-functional programs (3) external resource optimization. This role will inspire and protect trust across internal Microsoft stakeholders, customers, partners and employees, while driving and maintaining a strong culture of partner experience through a well-designed communication and training process.

This role will report to the Channel Sales Director of Programs, and will own stakeholder engagement with CSS, PFX, our strategic Accenture partnership and other stakeholder teams. You must have experience in product or process planning & management as the ability to understand key trends, develop the business case for process improvements and run key processes and procedures to facilitate planning, execution, and connections across Microsoft is imperative. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, and excellent planning and communication skills. Attention to detail is critical, and the ability to confidently manage external expenditure is essential. This exciting opportunity has a diverse mix of commitments and accountabilities, provides end-to-end visibility across business; support; operations, partner channel, and field teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying areas for partner experience improvement through support, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders

  • Understanding the business landscape for support and identifying experience and support changes that will be a key differentiator for Microsoft

  • Define business outcomes and metrics working with stakeholders across the company to improve the support experience for partners

  • Create, own and execute setup and management of a support engagement program to drive improvements in the partner support experience and enable engagement with worldwide stakeholders

  • End-to-end management of cross-functional programs across the team scope of MPN, Co-Sell, Transact, Enable, Engage.

  • Management, optimization and prioritization of external expenditure, including COGS and Opex.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a product or process planning/ management focused role, ideally combined with Customer/Partner Experience

  • Experience coordinating efforts to manage scope & schedule across multiple teams

  • Strong process acumen

  • Demonstrated experience and success at delivering cross-functional programs and the ability to influence without direct management authority, taking ownership and driving results

  • Outstanding speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to educate; inspire, and motivate others

  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Able to synthesize data and analytics to make informed decisions, provide industry leading recommendations, and make complex budget recommendations.

  • The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $125000 and $187700.

  • At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
