General Purpose of the Role

The Sr. Consultant of Application Optimization & Management will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for the Sales & Distribution organization as they align to technology optimization, content/data curation management, Allego/internal relationship management and operating effectiveness. Specifically, they will assess opportunities to optimize key processes and applications to enable continuous delivery of applications and application support within a managed service provider model. The Sr. Consultant will partner with managed service providers, internal partners, and external vendors to build, maintain, and enhance relationships to achieve business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Application optimization/adoption, learning content curation, customer relationship and analytics management, and overall operating effectiveness.

  • Partner closely with distribution & client solutions training professionals to create customized experiences that engage and advance distributed workforce readiness.

  • Strong customer relationship management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

  • Assesses and recommends solutions to optimize and streamline key processes.

  • Consults and acts as a subject matter expert to management and key stakeholders on identified process improvements that impact efficiency, departmental capabilities and/or return on investment.

  • Optimizes applications within his/her assigned area of responsibility across various build teams.

  • Champions a culture of continuous improvement and delivery through coaching and mentoring.

  • Builds and fosters relationships with managed service providers, internal partners, and vendors.

  • Organizes and facilitates meetings with managed service providers and vendors; directs engagement with appropriate internal and external resources to research questions and drive resolution of issues in a timely manner.

  • Develops corrective action plan(s) for recurring incidents.

  • Develops and implements complex contingency/recovery plan for systems.

  • Identifies and recommends solutions for operational efficiencies gained from increased automation.

  • Consults and acts as a subject matter expert to appropriate internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure application solutions meet business needs.

  • Monitors, identifies, and implements industry-accepted best practices and trends in application development and support that enable continuous improvement and continuous delivery.

Education & Experience

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)

  • 5 – 7+ Years Business Process Improvement, IT service delivery, and/or Application Development that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)

  • Adult learning experience. (Required)

  • Experience with learning management systems or digital sales enablement and/or learning and readiness software/platforms. (Preferred)
