Who We Are Seeking

Sr Director of Foundations is responsible to develop strategy, vision, and roadmap for an organization of over 100+ Engs across the following essential areas of Commerce Cloud:

  • Refactor, rebuild, and migration of Commerce Cloud to Public Cloud(AWS)

  • Security(MFA, CSP, ATO and Encryption etc.) and Compliance(HIPAA & PCI)

  • Availability(eCDN, Bot Mitigation, Holiday Readiness, and 99.99 service availability)

  • Visibility(Internal and External Monitoring, Logging and Alerting, etc.)

Security, Availability, and Visibility are critical elements for the success and differentiation of any Platform as a Service. It is of particular importance to Commerce Cloud as we embark on the journey to build the next generation of API-first Commerce Platform. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Own the product management lifecycle: research opportunities and pain points, drive the vision, define how the solution will work and related user experiences, analyze data and customer feedback

  • Continually improve Security, Availability, and Visibility of every aspect of our current Commerce Platform by surgically deploying fixes across our full Tech stack. This is an initiative with the direct customer and ACV impact.

  • Lead the team to refactor, rebuild and migrate Commerce Cloud to Public Cloud

  • Be the Product Leader for the Commerce Cloud Foundations team to lay out an appealing vision, build a technical roadmap and execute against it

The candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a product from conception through to market success. This includes articulating the product strategy (and how that strategy supports broader platform and business unit strategies), understanding the market needs to be addressed by the product, executing a clear plan iteratively to create a product satisfying those needs and driving adoption and commercial success of a product once launched. The ideal candidate would have familiarity with API-first design principles, including a domain-driven design approach, and experiences in building & scaling services on the public cloud.

We are seeking a seasoned product leader with these skills and experiences:

  • Strong Customer focus and exceptional communication

  • Tech chops with experience in building and scaling services on public cloud

  • Respected people leader, with thoughtful insight about how to grow, develop PM teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop a bold vision that drives innovation and inspires results

  • Outstanding cross-group collaboration, and highly effective in working in a globally distributed organization

  • A knack for data-driven decision making to measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to differentiate and to make trade-off recommendations

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration

  • Ability to engage in and influence technical discussions with engineering teams

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or related field

Desired Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to have conceived and successfully brought a Platform o market

  • 10+ years of product management experience in a SaaS/cloud company, ideally one leveraging public cloud

  • Knowledge of Agile development techniques and experience as a product owner in a SCRUM environment

  • MBA
