The Manager-IT Business Systems, for LenelS2 will responsible for leading the IT teams that supports the infrastructure and business systems across sites in Framingham, MA and Pittsford, NY. The role will also work closely with Engineering and Corporate IT in support of a fast-paced product development environment and ever evolving technical needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete the integration of newly acquired company‚Äôs IT systems and infrastructure into the UTC environment.

  • Lead a team of IT professionals that supports the complete spectrum of the IT environment (pcs, servers, networks, business applications, cloud-based apps and ERP)

  • IT audit and compliance ownership for the business. Sarbanes-Oxley policy adherence to ensure a compliant environment and practices.

  • Engage with Engineering to understand and support their needs and projects while having a progressive mind-set to implement solutions that challenge the norms

  • Lead projects and teams to deploy new features to desktops and networks to promote a positive end user experience

  • Manage the project roadmap for each technical area to continue to meet the needs of business growth

  • Work in conjunction with corporate infrastructure teams to implement and support IT solutions being driven at a WHQ level

  • Manage and control the IT spend and make decisions based on appropriate business value

  • Engage additional corporate resources as needed to ensure appropriate support is provided for all business infrastructure needs

  • Serve as an escalation point for end user needs and urgent items

EDUCATION:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited school in the area of computer science, business administration, or related field.

Candidate must be a strong leader and able to adapt his/her communication style to work successfully across functional boundaries and across cultures. The candidate must have:

  • Strong leadership background

  • Strong end user support background

  • Strong project management skills

  • Solid digital infrastructure fundamentals

  • Background/experience in deploying technical solutions

  • Excellent communication (written and Verbal) skills and strong interpersonal skills,

  • A strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Windows, Active Directory, MS Office, LDAP

  • A good understanding of security technologies.

The candidate must be able to:

  • Champion the enterprise initiatives and business change

  • Coordinate numerous activities simultaneously.

  • Travel up to 25%

The candidate should be a results-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent professional skills required including oral presentation and business writing are essential.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 7 to 10 years of demonstrated leadership in managing diverse IT teams

  • Proven success in leading complex IT projects

  • Solid digital infrastructure fundamentals

  • Strong project management skills

  • Proactive and high energy

  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a matrix organization

  • Strong interpersonal written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
