JOB SUMMARY
As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our cyber security automation. Leads the development of cyber security automation capabilities in our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including security analysts, engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to develop and deliver high-quality capabilities that meet security by design principles.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field or equivalent experience/certification.
7+ years progressive Information Technology/Information Security technical experience in developing, managing and securing technical solutions.
3+ years working with agile methodologies.
The candidate should have 3+ years combined experience in some or all of the following areas:
Define and prioritize the product backlog items for the cyber security automation capabilities based on organizational needs, and business objectives.
Work closely with the development team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products that meet our organization’s needs.
Experience in developing cyber security automation capabilities or products.
Strong technical knowledge of cyber security, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk management.
Solid understanding of Internet security issues, automation or software engineering technologies, cloud architectures, and threat landscape concept
Experience securing CI/CD pipelines
Cryptography and current cryptographic standards, including PKI
Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure:
Applications
Databases
Operating systems — Windows, Unix, and Linux
IP networks — WAN and LAN
Backup networks and media
Containers/Kubernetes and microservices
Preferred:
Defines and prioritizes the product backlog items for the cyber security automation capabilities based on organizational needs, and business objectives.
Develops and maintains the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the cyber security automation capabilities.
Leads the effort with stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality products that meet our organization’s needs.
Collaborates with security analysts, engineers, and developers to ensure that the cyber security automation capabilities are aligned with industry best practices and standards.
Works with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements and provide technical solutions to meet their needs.
Defines, gathers, and reports on metrics/KPIs for tracking success.
Develops and maintains project documentation and provides status updates to stakeholders on a regular basis.
Using UI design experience, develops wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using design tools.
Exercises strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Leverages knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and CAPEC framework, OWASP Top 10

Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the quality of operations.
