Grubhub Sr. Program Manager - Agency in Boston, Massachusetts

This is a critical role within our Agency team, which builds custom branded mobile applications and web ordering experiences for our Enterprise restaurant clients. The LevelUp Agency team has built and launched over 200 mobile and web applications for clients ranging from 50 locations to 900 locations, with plans to build and launch even larger and more complex applications as we grow our business.

  • Support Agency Leads by aggregating and prioritizing dependencies across internal and external teams

  • Manage cross organizational programs to rollout new features and functionality across all branded applications

  • Define, create and manage emergency mitigation program to rollout branded application updates in short order

  • Support Agency Leads to balance application development projects, maintain updated project priorities, and allocate design, development and testing resources across projects.

  • Provide status and progress updates to Agency Leaders on internal programs and strategic initiatives.

  • Work with internal Agency team to improve internal processes aimed at preventing and resolving blockers that can delay project timelines for client-facing applications.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Understanding of software development life cycle, development project workflows and processes, including agile development methodologies

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects with multiple dependencies & constraints.

  • Ability to drive multiple projects effectively

  • Ability to create and refine program plans to help drive delivery to completion

  • Ability to exercise sound judgments in driving programs

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail and time management skills

  • Comfortable working in an unstructured and entrepreneurial environment

  • Able to generate solutions to help present or visualize quantitative and qualitative product and engineering team specific data. This can include sprint level metrics, product usage, Service Level Objectives, and Key Performance Indicators.

  • Can initiate programs, establish objectives, get senior leadership buy-in where necessary and create and refine program plans to help drive delivery to completion.
