Location: Ideal candidate will reside in the state of Indiana however, can be filled anywhere in the US.

Responsible for managing the overall vendor performance per contractual service level agreements (SLA) and ensures vendor conformity to enterprise standards, operational processes and management guidelines to ensure business goals are achieved for an enterprise function. Acts as single point of accountability for internal and external business partners.

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

• Defines and oversees the execution of complex vendor management and implementation strategy for a defined set of vendors.

• Proactively develops effective business relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and key decision makers in order to meet or exceed expectations.

• Responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more implementation programs that are multi-state, multi-function and multi-year in scope.

• Directs the development, planning, prioritization, approval, implementation and compliance of on-going vendor programs.

• Establishes program governance when needed to assure response to issue escalation; develops program budget and ensures program meets its stated objectives.

• Provides subject matter expertise in response to strategic business issues; researches applicable subject matter practices; and remains aware of industry trends.

• Drives continuous improvement activities and implementations across functional areas.

• Recommends and implements vendor parameters regarding vendor production and quality in support of business objectives.

• Serves as vendor management's liaison to the information security organization within Elevance Health, advising and assisting the respective information security teams with any issues, concerns or questions relative to vendor performance, compliance, risk management, and relationship health.

• Enables development of an information security risk management program that includes business, regulatory, industry practices and technical environment considerations; establishes strategic vendor relationships for security products and services.

• Conducts regular business review meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure vendors are meeting the needs of the Elevance Health information security organization.

• Works with the information security organization to optimize the vendor portfolio.

• Researches relevant trends and activities in information security, healthcare, business, competition and regulatory environments; recommends strategy adjustments.

• Develops and maintains processes for the management of vendor-related security policy exceptions and works with vendors, stakeholders and vendor management peers toward remediation and closure of open exceptions.

Minimum Requirements : BA/BS degree in business or a related field; 5-7 years of process improvement, inventory management, contract management, vendor management, project management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Ability to travel may be required.

Preferred skills qualifications and experiences:

Information security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar strongly preferred.

Experience managing relationships with information security vendors in an enterprise environment.

Broad exposure working with stakeholders across all information security domains: security and risk management, asset security, security architecture and engineering, communications and network security, identity and access management, security assessment and testing, security operations, and software development security.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $83,920 to $151,056
