The Salesforce Security Team is seeking an experienced enterprise security leader reporting to our Security Assurance organization. Enterprise security is critical to the success of Salesforce, Business Technology, and Salesforce employees. As the leader of this team, you will strategically influence and define the present and future of how we secure our enterprise in balance with the usability needs of our employee base. A successful candidate will own the roadmap for the full spectrum of enterprise security controls, assets, and engineering enablement and will drive that vision with the help of our trusted partners in Business Technology. You and your team will be responsible for the following across all Salesforce's broad and diverse business lines:

Drive Enterprise Security initiatives in relation to securing assets, customer service delivery, and regulatory/audit compliance.

Deliver security guidance on enterprise-wide security projects and activities

Oversee the vendor security program and lifecycle

Evaluate business process outsourcer security

Assess endpoint and device security and provide recommendations to the business

Engage development teams on internally developed applications (security design consulting, reviews, and penetration testing)

Evaluate critical IT infrastructure (security design consulting, reviews, and penetration testing)

Oversee the creation and implementation of security automation tools

Interface with internal and external customers

Qualifications:

15 years of experience working in a security-focused role in the technology or other technology-heavy industry (e.g. Financial Services)

7- 10 years in a security leadership role

Experience leading global teams and leadership

Adept at designing and implementing security assurance practices including threat modeling and penetration testing

In-depth knowledge of common application and infrastructure security vulnerabilities and mitigations

Experience with cloud computing architectures and the associated security designs and challenges

Skilled in implementing secure modern Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Implementing mail security capabilities (DMARC, SPF, and DKIM)

Experience implementing zero-trust security models such as BeyondCorp

Experience implementing SDLC process, technology, and automation

Strong cross-functional leadership and team-building skills

Experience engaging with customers regarding security

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
