Technical HEOR Project Manager

job summary:

Project Manager - HEOR and Market Access Systems

Looking for an experienced project manager who'll be responsible for managing technology platform implementations to support the HEOR and Market access business groups.

This position provides advanced project and program management expertise along with subject matter expertise for business processes that support creation of our value stories and country level pricing and reimbursement submissions.

We are looking for an individual with deep project management experience, a person who has led technology platform implementations involving cross-functional teams in the HEOR and market access space. This role will collaborate with business stakeholders on requirements and with IT stakeholders on implementing the requirements on a cloud-based platform. Managing internal and external resources, 3 rd party vendors and their teams, business expectations and project timelines should be second nature to this individual.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage all project activities for HEOR and Market Access system implementations as the PM.

  2. Project planning and co-ordination for system implementations to support Value dossier management and tracking of HTA (Health Technology Assessment) submissions including managing the overall project plan, key dependencies and risks.

  3. Collaborate with HEOR and Market access business stakeholders on their requirements and help translate them into technical requirements, as needed.

  4. Form a liaison between the business and the technical teams by providing business analysis and HEOR subject matter expertise on these projects.

  5. Manage the overall system implementation activities performed by 3 rd party vendor resources

  6. Co-ordinate project activities across the business, 3 rd party vendors and GIS.

  7. Maintain project status documents and present the same to relevant stakeholders through the course of the project.

  8. Escalate any project risks and challenges to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.

Requirements

  1. Proven work experience as a project manager for technology platform implementations preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  2. 10-12 years of overall IT experience with 5-6 years as a project manager managing technology platform implementations.

  3. Experience in managing projects that follow both waterfall and agile methodologies

  4. Experience in using project management tools like MS Project, MS Excel and JIRA.

  5. Knowledge of the HEOR and Market access space in the pharmaceutical industry

  6. Subject matter expertise on processes around creation of global value dossiers, HTA submissions and tracking the submissions through their lifecycle.

  7. Strong understanding of and inclination towards cloud based technologies and platforms.

  8. PMP and Agile certifications are a plus.

  9. Strong communication skills and ability to work and collaborate effectively in teams of different sizes.

  10. Bachelors or Masters in Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Information sciences
