The Technical Lead is responsible for managing, planning and implementing the development side of individual show delivery for our virtual solutions. This includes managing work across multiple development components, ensuring all integrations are set up and tested as well as the front end components of the website are delivered on time and to specification. This role will partner closely with our Customer Success team to ensure client satisfaction at a show level. It will require being focused on both managing upcoming shows as well as providing show coverage both during working hours and after hours.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as dev lead for assigned events, coordinating all Dev team work completing all key milestones as required by standard department practices

  • Manage and troubleshoot technical issues for shows that they own as well as coordinate the right development resource to resolve any issues

  • Partner closely with our Technical Customer Success and Digital Producers as well as Lead Developers to deliver successful virtual events

  • Responsible for the preparation/training of any dev team members for show day delivery and / or coverage

  • Utilize extensive knowledge of our virtual solutions and services to act as a resource to clients in improving their virtual event experience

  • Evaluate and develop department standards with other core team members to improve the groups workflow

  • Provide Dev Leadership After Hours Coverage on a rotational basis

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree desired or equivalent industry experience

  • Proven success at delivering software solutions in the events industry

  • Demonstrated experience delivering across broad cross functional teams
