Role Description

As a Technical Partner Manager on the Program Management Office & Governance Team, you will help strategize and implement new and exciting program initiatives across the Global Product Engineering (GPE) Organization. You will be an essential part of fulfilling GPE’s vision to build modern, standardized, commercial platforms providing world class capabilities that exceed our customer needs and expectations.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about technology partner ecosystems and businesses, and enjoy staying informed about industry advances and new innovations in the space.

List of Responsibilities

Research, plan, lead and manage all onboarding initiatives with key business partners for multiple engagement purposes.

Specifically:

  • Be the central point of contact and advocacy at Iron Mountain, orchestrating the partner engagements across various departments: product, engineering, commercial, security, legal

  • Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving business and technical issues and serving as an internal advocate

  • Identify and address any issues that could affect partner enablement

  • Manage internal and external stakeholder communications to ensure all partners are aligned during the strategic, operational, planning, and decision-making processes

  • Use data analytics and reporting to make business decisions and coordinate schedules between company events, guide discussions, working closely with partner teams

  • Ensure all documentation is organized and easily accessible by relevant parties

  • Be accountable for success metrics and partner growth

  • Gather and implement feedback to improve partner onboarding process

  • Enable partner and team technology training and technical product roadmap alignments

Assist the Director of Engineering Global Program Management and Governance by performing relevant research to inform strategic decisions and achieve organization wide milestones

Qualifications Required

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, technical sales or consultancy

  • Experience working with product and technical teams

  • Experience in following legal and finance processes such as contract and non-disclosure agreement (NDA) issuance and signature, and Professional Services Agreements (PSA)

  • Experience of working with global, multicultural, diverse teams, with demanding timelines and complex deliverables

  • Strong technical background with basic understanding of enterprise technical solutions including networking, storage, hardware, and software layers

  • Experience with Agile methodologies

  • Team collaborator with our external partners and internal colleagues

  • An analytical thinker with the ability to assess business opportunities.

  • Effective time & prioritization management

  • Experience presenting to large and diverse audiences

  • Concise communicator with ability to adapt style, message, and format across diverse internal and external audiences

  • Exceptional visual communication skills

Educational Background needed

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management or related field required

Post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. MSc, PhD, MBA) preferred
