As the Worldwide Learning (WWL) Technical Delivery Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and modeling a solid execution framework to ensure that the key compliance and accessibility initiatives are planned, executed, and scaled. You will work closely with other partners across product and program management, content creators, engineering, testing vendors and customer success to ensure our learning products as well as supporting tools and processes delight customers and internal users, are secure, and are inclusive and accessible to everyone. You’ll be part of a growing and dynamic team operating in a fast-paced cadence.
In this role, you will use project management rigor coupled with a strong technical understanding of various assistive technologies (AT) used by individuals with disabilities to provide direction on how to design and test for these ATs with the goal to deliver a usable experience for everyone. You will be responsible for taking key strategic objectives through the ideation, define and deployment.
Advance and scale the design and deployment of strategic accessibility initiatives
Function as an accessibility technical subject matter expert who monitors industry trends to stay aware of best practices
Act as champion and inclusive design ambassador while working with partners and stake holders on the delivery of accessible and inclusive digital properties and experiences
Closely with the Technical SME to partner and engage with key WWL teams and vendors including engineering, testing and the customer success team to ensure integration of the accessibility strategy across the entire customer journey
Work closely with designers, product managers, usability teams, and accessibility experts to drive practical solutions to complex issues
Enable the end-to-end management of processes using tools such as Azure Dev Ops (AzDO) and others that enable teams to produce high quality products and programs efficiently and at scale

Basic Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of program management experience including strategic planning, organization, execution, and follow-through
Technical proficiency in the tools and application of accessibility guidelines such as MAS, WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.1 and SEC 508, ENG 301 549 standards along with industry best practices
Managing and influencing complex cross functional teams to deliver on agreed commitments
Proven experience overseeing process improvements and/or digital transformation
Impact, influence, and ability to deal with ambiguity
Ability to build good framework and models for prioritization, planning and execution for projects in collaboration with stakeholders
Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment
Education or related experience in technical fields such as computer science, engineering, information management.
Education or related experience in communication, instructional design, content project management.
Certification or training in Accessibility (such as Trusted Tester or CPACC) or other compliance related areas.
Experience at leading quality governance framework/process
Experience overseeing or supporting Compliance and Accessibility programs
Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management training or certification, with real-world practical experience
Change Management training or certification (such as Prosci Change Management) a plus
The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $125,000 and $187,700.
At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
