What You'll Do

You'll help bring transformation to our customers' data center infrastructure and help simplify their operational challenges. The hyperconverged team seeks a seasoned and motivated Technical Solutions Architect to focus on Cisco's HyperFlex HCI product, solutions, and software-defined storage products.

These are very hot markets, and demand for Cisco’s products in them is growing extremely fast. HyperFlex is one of the fastest growing products in the Data Center portfolio. This is an opportunity to join a rocket ship already at speed working with not only our HCI product portfolio, but also the larger Data Center portfolio as a whole.

Who You'll Work With

Our team works with our product engineers and marketing, our sales force, and our partners. We help provide field input and direction into engineering, and drive product knowledge out to the field. We help our sales force, partners, and customers stay up to date on the latest product enhancements, as well as understand the value, and unique advantages that come with the most complete and advanced HCI stack in the industry.

Who You Are

You have experience with server virtualization technology, enterprise storage systems, and server hardware. You're seasoned with customer-facing presales engagements, and you easily explain technical concepts and subjects to a variety of audience levels with varied technical backgrounds, at the same time articulating the business value of those technical topics. Your strong communication skills help you effectively command a confidence in the technology, and help you influence others.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • More than 5 years of technical presales experience.

  • Working knowledge of Cisco UCS environments is a plus.

  • Strong IT infrastructure skill set including one or more of the following:

  • Hyperconvergence

  • Enterprise Storage

  • Server technologies

  • Virtualization

  • Networking

  • Enterprise Applications, Systems Management

  • Ability to travel in order to meet client demands required.

  • Ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs).

  • Flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.

  • Ability to motivate, train and conduct seminars to increase HyperFlex revenues.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Must be a self-starter effective in working independently and in a team setting.
