Humana Technology Implementation Lead in Boston, Massachusetts
We are seeking a technical leader to lead the continued expansion of our Enterprise software platform, all fully developed with internal resources. The ideal candidate is passionate about building software while motivating the best from team members. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders from software developers and other departments of IT to leaders in Product Management, Operations, and Fulfillment.
*This is a remote position however candidate must be willing to accommodate working in EST or CST time zone
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct multiple enterprise software implementations simultaneously
Identify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate / escalate to implementation team members
Manage project schedule and budget
Manage team of Technology Solution Implementation resources and Project Managers
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with internal and external customers as well as other team members
Track and report on milestones, identify and resolve project impediments and clearly track and communicate project risks
Collaborate with business owners on the identification and assignment of business resources
Develop and manage program communications to ensure all key stakeholders are kept connected to status, issues, risks and implementation plan
Implement strong program management practices (change requests, issue management, risk management, and decision tracking) and contribute to conversations in implementation methodologies and best practices
Serves as the primary point of contact for software audits and certifications
Foster working relationships with business partners, auditors, and vendors
Carry out all other duties as assigned by management.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
10+ years of experience working in a Healthcare- related software development role preferred
5+ years of leading large pharmacy software projects, experience leading pharmacy software certifications and audits a plus
2+ year in an agile software development environment preferred
Working knowledge of project budgeting, resource budgeting and timeline management with a proven track record of success. Experience with ServiceNow preferred.
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple concurrent projects
Knowledge of clinical informatics, especially relating to ICD-10, RxNorm, SNOMED, SCRIPT standard, PBM concepts, and drug information databases preferred. Experience with First Databank or Medispan highly desired.
PMP certification, sig sigma certification a plus
Ability to interpret data structures and read/write SQL queries of simple to moderate complexity
Knowledge of HL7, XML, and JSON data formats for exchanging electronic information
Working knowledge of MS Office toolset and an application flowcharting tool, preferably Visio
Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
