Required Skills:

Technology Program Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Facebook’s community support processes, products, and policies, and drive system design discussions in the ecosystem

  2. Work with business and operational teams to define end to end system requirements and architecture

  3. Drive build vs buy decisions, and integrations with third party software

  4. Define the project scope, translate them into implementable requirements, and drive implementation with Engineering and launch of the technology solution

  5. Track and analyze key operational metrics to drive optimization efforts

  6. Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases

  7. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery

  8. Use problem-solving to resolve large and complex business problems

  9. Work with cross-functional partners from engineering and business and vendors to improve the support experience on our existing suite of products

  10. Partner with teams to develop scalable solutions to support Facebook’s global outsourcing base

  11. Work with technical and non-technical teams to set milestones, communicate project status, and identify/address potential setbacks

  12. Manage cross-functional programs covering a range of products across all lines of the business

  13. Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions

  14. Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the required skills and technologies. Experience must include 24 months involving the following:

  2. Designing applications, and creating wireframes and mockups for solution POC

  3. Negotiating scope, influencing solution options and outcomes, and engaging with business stakeholders

  4. Leveraging data to influence decision-making and prioritization

  5. Gathering business requirements and articulating solutions
