CRJ Technology Support Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts

To provide hardware and software support and maintenance to CRJ users.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides users with software and hardware support with Windows OS computers and MS Office Professional software.
Provides remote desktop/laptop support using LogMeIn rescuer to remote users.
Troubleshoot telephone problem issues and resolve if possible otherwise, escalate internally or externally.
Setup mobile devices support to interact with Microsoft Exchange email, calendars and contacts.
Troubleshoot Citrix Virtual with Dell THIN Client device
Troubleshoot issues with copiers, printers, scanners, and resolve or escalate internally or externally.
Troubleshoot surveillance systems issues and resolve or escalate internally or externally.
Performs maintenance on equipment according to the maintenance schedule
Provides basic LAN wiring when needed or assess the need for hiring wiring contractors.
Support for LAN hubs, routers, and broadband modems.
Provides basic software staff training as needed
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Special Work Conditions: Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
Knowledge of Windows, MS Office, Basic HTML and JavaScript, Citrix, SharePoint, Mobile Devices OS.
Ability to work with people. Articulate and ability to convey technological terminology in lay terms to a non-technological community. Understanding of the budgetary constraints of non-profit organizations and ability to maximize resources.
Willingness to visit multiple locations for computer maintenance or troubleshooting. Helpful if he/she owns her own vehicle.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Computer Science or 2 years of in-the-field experience. Trade certifications are helpful.
