GoTo Vice President, IT in Boston, Massachusetts
We are looking for an experienced and collaborative leader to build and lead our IT
organization and take a key role in setting our company vision going forward.
The VP of IT at LastPass will ensure that employees across all functions have secure and seamless access to the business tools, systems, data, and infrastructure they need to be successful. He or she will drive the evaluation and adoption of modern and innovative technologies that will be critical to gaining efficiencies and driving LastPass’s growth.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker but also a practical, hands-on problem-solver with a deep understanding of business applications, data management, security, and infrastructure in tech companies.
Scope and Responsibilities
Responsible for business systems shared services, and applications company-wide, including the infrastructure, data platforms, and technology to support them.
Build and lead an innovative, global, customer-focused team.
Develop a culture that is collaborative and maniacally focused on the employee experience.
Design our IT organization, recruit top talent and cultivate career growth for individuals in a rapidly growing organization.
Lead IT strategic and operational planning in collaboration with the leadership team to achieve business goals.
Develop and operationalize the IT roadmap; prioritize IT initiatives company wide.
Oversee all IT operations: deployment, monitoring, maintenance, support, help desk for IT systems and services, including infrastructure, end-user devices, operating systems, hardware, and business services and applications.
Ensure an excellent user experience for internal customers by delivering efficient day to-day support, proactive communication, and thoughtful change management.
Establish SLAs where needed and ensure that systems operate to them.
Collaborate closely with security and compliance teams to operationalize and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, contractual, and security requirements.
Lead evaluation, design, testing, and deployment of new technologies. Assess options for outsourcing, purchasing, and in-house development of new systems and processes.
Ten plus years of experience in senior-level IT positions, overseeing production-level systems
In-depth knowledge of modern tech stack for cloud applications, including AWS, Azure, IAM/SSO/MFA/IGA and big data solutions.
Extensive hands-on experience with assessment, design, development and implementation of IT systems.
Solid understanding of data design, analysis, and engineering in a hyper growth company.
Experience analyzing and applying information security risk, risk management, and privacy practices.
Experience working with common security frameworks and regulatory/compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, PCI, GDPR & CCPA, etc)
Demonstrated experience managing budgeting, financial planning, business operations, and project management.
Data-driven, analytical mindset and great problem-solving skills.
Extensive experience with IT helpdesk function including hardware deployment and system access.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities and history of success working with executives across an organization.
