Job Description

The Offering Management team is accountable for delivering healthcare solutions that support product, platform and business strategy, achieving business results, and providing operational support for products and platforms. The Offering Manager is responsible for delivery of assigned analytic solutions. The Offering Manager will work with Product Marketing Managers to define and deliver new capabilities and enhancements that meet market needs, and oversee ongoing maintenance of existing solutions. The Offering Manager will support service delivery teams with education and communication of analytic capabilities and product-specific support of key sales pursuits.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Elicits and converts market requirements to minimal marketable features and acceptance criteria based on approved business cases.

  • Collaborates with Software Development and Product Marketing Managers to prioritize feature enhancements, new features, and defect handling for assigned products or platforms

  • Serves as a product expert, understands user workflow, data and analytics; and works with Software Development, Content and Analytics teams to deliver solutions to meet end user and market needs.

  • Oversees product releases in an Agile environment

  • Collaborates with multiple Offering Management, Software Development and Analytic stakeholders to ensure broad applicability and acceptance of platform capabilities.

  • Collaborates with customers and Client-facing colleagues to obtain feedback to guide solution design and oversee customer development partnerships.

  • Delivers solution training to internal staff to support product launch.

  • Provide expertise and support for the creation of release notes and other product documentation for customers and internal staff.

  • Monitors product development progress; iterates product requirements with Software Development, Quality Assurance, and Content and Analytics teams to ensure customer needs, schedule, and budgets are met.

  • Monitors performance of products in the market based on customer response.

  • Works with customer support to resolve customer inquiries and issue resolution, as needed.

  • Contributes to the strategic and operational planning for the solutions team.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and agreed upon scope.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence others, resolve conflict, and act as Product Owner within a Product Delivery Team.

  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing initiatives.

  • Engage effectively and persuasively at all levels of the organization from staff level to senior management levels.

  • Understanding of analytics and its use in the healthcare market.

  • Background working with hospital analytics and subject matter.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive and deliver results.

  • Excellent written, verbal, web, and face-to-face communication skills.

  • Strong analytical abilities and decision-making capabilities.

  • Effective in a dynamic, matrix organization with an aggressive multi-project schedule.

Position can be based in Ann Arbor, MI or Raleigh, NC.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5 years experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or equivalent for software solutions.

  • Previous experience working with healthcare analytics is strongly preferred.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • 7 years experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or equivalent for software solutions.

  • Strongly prefer experience in a healthcare market.

  • Previous experience working with healthcare analytics is strongly preferred.
