Join an exciting and dynamic team delivering a large-scale Enterprise Common Tools cloud platform, automation & orchestration, and Cloud Application Migration effort for the Army. This team works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with engineering, migration, and operations & sustainment of cloud migration efforts. Enterprise Common Tools and specific Army program customer migration efforts provide a range of day-to-day challenges, while the bigger picture architecture and migration efforts provide tangible milestones that the team pursues together following AGILE practices, to deliver the overall program effort. We’re looking for self-starter Leads and technical engineers, to work both as part of the team and on individual assignments, in an environment of customer mission delivery, integrity and communications. We’re looking to fill this role/team with those who currently have the cloud experience, certifications, and skills to execute in large enterprise environments, are flexible and enjoy tackling challenges, and desire to join a large team that is building and sustaining a large multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise and migrating/expanding/automating the enterprise. Responsibilities :

The Change Manage r is responsible for ensuring that Change /Configuration Management standard methods and procedures are implemented for the efficient and prompt handling of all changes, to minimize the impact of change upon service quality.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Act as point of escalation for Change Management process issues.

  • Ensure quality Change Management reports are produced and distributed.

  • Ensure the Change Management process is followed by all stakeholders.

  • Promote Change Management process across all involved organizations.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers and MSPs.

  • Ensuring continuous service improvement is a pivotal element of the service.

  • Lead and be accountable with the planning, design, implementation, and the transformation of ITSM Change Management infrastructure processes and procedures.

  • Provide analysis and support for on-going service delivery, performance, and governance operations for Change Management.

  • Lead evaluations and quality assessments for proper implementation of processes to meet quality standards.

  • Drive continuous improvements to the quality and efficiency of the Change Management process.

  • Drive Change Management log to capture work efforts that are outside of our contract agreement.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on a multi-disciplinary team supportingin developing, maturing,trackingand reporting key cybersecurity maturity, performance, and effectiveness metrics across the organization.

  • Communicate programmatic issues, concerns, and opportunities.

  • Review/update Change ManagementSOPs and monitor program activities for consistency with the approved SOPs.

  • Provide training as needed onchangemanagement processes and procedures.

  • Participates in special projects as required.

  • Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures.

  • Assist in the use of configuration management tools to store, track, and manage configuration items.

  • Understand basic conceptsand assist in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures.

  • Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures.

  • Understand basic concepts, assist in maintaining and developing the environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration.

  • Utilize configuration management tools to store, track, and manage configuration items.

  • Maintain the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration.

  • Develop hardware and software version control processes, policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed on hardware and software development projects.

  • Apply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures.

  • Serve as an advisor to (or non-voting member of) Government Change Control Board (CCB).

Required skills and experience:

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience),8+ years ofchangemanagement/project controlsexperience.

  • Working knowledge of Change/ConfigurationManagement workflows, and ITSM processes.

  • Relevant experience as a Change Managerin programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Experience in project management, engineering management, or another related subject of comparable complexity and responsibility.

  • ITIL certifications or training and experience working within the ITIL framework.

  • Strong Change/ConfigurationManagement background.

  • Experience with ITSM tool sets, preferably ServiceNow.

  • Experience driving process improvements.

  • Proven ability to engage and partner with stakeholders across any number of business functions.

  • Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Active Secret clearanceis required to start.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Work as a self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team.

  • Working knowledge of the Service Management workflows and ITSM processes.

  • Good written and communications skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes.


  • Telework, with preferred location in National Capital Region (NCR) for meetings
