Main purpose of job:

The Director operational Excellence will support the Operational Lean Strategy. In this role, director operational Excellence will be a key stake holder of the One PCI Operational Excellence Program that clearly ties into the PCI strategy for Business Improvement.

Main responsibilities:

• Support the Implementation of the Global One PCI Plant Maturity Index, through benchmarking, identifying Improvement Gaps and promoting Best Practice across all sites.

• Provide Strategic support in order to identify Blueprint, Line of Sight and Transition plans that ensure the delivery of Site Budget and profitable growth.

• Lead high priority A3 projects, cross functional kaizen events and multi-Practitioner teams to drive best practice in process improvement.

• Be accountable for the maintenance and reporting of the cost saving tracker in support of Business Cost Reduction Targets across all sites.

• Be a PCI role model by establishing engagement at all levels, driving enterprise, accountability, teamwork and world class customer service.

• Lead, Mentor and support each site CI Team to establish the PCI Lean Academy in order to raise Lean Awareness and develop lean skills.

• In conjunction with the site SLT, Implement and maintain a balanced Scorecard and visual factory to provide the business with KPI’s that align to the PCI strategy.

• Innovate and embrace the latest technology to enable process excellence and provide Industry leading performance.
