W.B. Mason Company, Inc. eCommerce Developer (Search) in Brockton, Massachusetts

Come help us build the next generation of our product search engine for one of the 100 largest eCommerce platforms in North America (Internet Retailer Top 500 List #55)! W.B. Mason is looking for a skilled software developer to contribute enhancements to our existing product search functionality as well as to help architect, design and develop the next versions of our search and product content engines. The successful candidate will contribute by enhancing and building systems that return highly relevant results to our customers in a scalable and performant fashion. Every millisecond matters!

Basic Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related field

  • 3+ years professional experience with SQL or NoSQL database technologies

  • 3+ years professional experience with Object-Oriented Programming in at least one language such as C#, Java, C++, Ruby

  • Knowledge of basic Computer Science concepts - data structures, OO design, problem solving, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Microsoft technology stack

  • .NET (C#, ASP.NET, Web API)

  • Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures and functions

  • Experience successfully delivering products and features to high-traffic web applications

  • Experience with Test Driven Development
