Signature Healthcare Simulation IT Operations Specialist in Brockton, Massachusetts
Located at the School of Nursing the specialist provides ongoing maintenance and technical support of all hardware, software, audio/visual equipment, simulation manikins and learning management systems. Provides support to faculty in planning, implementation and evaluation of simulation scenarios. The specialist is responsible for installation and support of all PC/laptop applications and hardware/software/audio/visual equipment for the classroom and the simulation lab and cleaning, maintenance and repair of manikins. Will provide set up for simulation sessions, orient participants to the equipment, run simulation equipment operations during scenarios and provide feedback to faculty.
Technical expertise including the ability to diagnosis and troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Ability to train and support student, faculty and administration in the successful operation of Simulation scenarios and desktop, laptop and notebook IT systems, audio/video equipment and learning management systems. Degree in information technology, computer science or simulation lab support or relevant equivalent professional experience. At least two years of job experience in information technology, hardware, software applications and learning management systems. Experience in higher education desired.
