CVS Health Advanced Software Development Engineer in Burlington, Massachusetts

Job Description

Leverage data and IoT events from across the enterprise, the cloud and fog in order to transform it into products. Assist with the building of a health based cloud platform. Work on developing cutting-edge applications and products, brainstorming with architects, product managers, data scientists and engineers to build data products. Design, implement and support data ingestion and consumption pipelines for enterprise-scale datasets. Establish frameworks to roll out new data analysis for standalone data-driven products and micro-services. Model data and metadata to support persona based interactions as defined through interfacing with business customers, gathering requirements, and delivering solutions. Create machine/deep learning infrastructure that generalizes across customers and is expressive enough to generate high lift. Partner end-to-end with product managers and data scientists to understand customer requirements and design prototypes and bring ideas to production.

Background Experience

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of software engineering, development or consulting experience in enterprise / web / cloud applications.

Must have experience building, testing and deploying code to run on cloud infrastructure with Amazon Web Services; API development experience using Spring, micro-services, RESTful Webservices and AWS API Gateway; and designing, implementing and supporting enterprise scale applications. Must also have experience with the following tools/technologies: Unix/Linux; scripting; Hadoop; SQL/PLSQL; Big Data; NoSQL; HIVE; Apache Kafka / AWS Kinesis Streams; Agile and Scrum; Java; J2EE; AngularJS; XML; SOA; S3; and AWS Lambda.
