B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science (Masters and PhD are preferred)
Must have professional Deep Learning work exp.
2+ years’ experience building and delivering software systems
A minimum, 5 years of professional experience programming in Python
2+ years of deep learning experience specifically in NLU, Text, Speech, Document, Vision and Image Processing
Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts
Experience building and tuning deep learning models
Experience working with at least one major deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana
Fluency in spoken and written English
We’re looking for talented engineers with expertise and passion for solving difficult problems in ML-based conversational AI. You will design and build innovative new systems from the ground up. We need smart, self-motivated problem solvers to drive the solutions our customers need.
As a member of the team, you will take an active role in researching and implementing AI solutions while pushing the state of the art in a wide range of areas such as: multi-lingual intent classification and entity recognition, entity linking, custom vocabulary handling, dialogue state tracking and management, smart input and output normalization, multi-lingual speech recognition, slot tagging, sentiment analysis, semantic parsing, and more.
In this role, you will keep yourself current on the latest AI approaches like Deep Learning or Graph Neural Networks, determining how to apply or extend these techniques within the ODA infrastructure, engineering them for maximum performance, accuracy, reliability, and scalability. You will work with a team pushing the boundaries of scalable, self-healing, autonomous cloud infrastructure, owning the software design and development for your components.

Highly scalable, reliable, performance optimized code
Innovating, Designing, and prototyping solutions for AI/ML services using cutting-edge techniques
Extending the state of the art on Machine Learning and AI
Understanding customers’ needs and building new features to meet them
The ODA team is distributed worldwide where you will frequently communicate with team members in Australia, India, Europe, and the U.S. West Coast. There will also be some opportunities to travel when the time is right.
