The Project Manager, M&A Legal Integration role is within Salesforce’s Mergers & Acquisitions Legal team and reports to the Director, Project Management for Legal Integration. The Legal Integration team partners with Corporate Development and a cross-functional team of stakeholders throughout the organization on acquisitions and developing a strategy to integrate them into Salesforce. The role is responsible for working with the Legal Integration Lead to plan, oversee, and manage the acquisition project plan, from diligence through full integration. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders and will most often include managing several projects simultaneously. Ultimately, we are looking for someone with a proven track record of managing multiple global/complex projects while maintaining an efficient project plan, tracking issues, and communicating progress on milestones. Responsibilities (what you will do)

  • Work with Integration Lead and other Legal team stakeholders to develop detailed project plan templates for varying acquisition/integration types

  • Work with the Director Project Management, Legal Integration to finalize the Legal M&A Integration playbook, and routinely identify and improve processes

  • Work with Integration Lead to prepare materials for project kickoff and weekly syncs

  • Implement project plan into Smartsheets and track milestone progress

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation

  • Monitor and report out on Legal M&A budget requirements

  • Produce consistent and clear status reports for both project teams and Executive audiences

  • Perform integration retrospectives to improve upon our mistakes and prevent them from repeating

Preferred Skills and Experience (what you bring to the table)

  • 5-7 years of relevant project management experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail is an understatement

  • Excellent team player who is able to work with virtual, global, and cross-functional teams

  • Capacity to manage high stress situations

  • Experience with Smartsheets, Google slides, and Quip preferred

  • Ideal to have experience with M&A and/or Salesforce products
