S enior Manager, Software Engineering, Mobile

What we’re looking for: a leader to lead the team that builds the core of the Field Service Mobile application.

We work closely with Product Managers and Designers to define new features, and help map the future. We’re building the next generation of Field Service Mobile experiences by tapping into the power of cross platform development on Mobile and leveraging the Salesforce platform. We’re building a team of talented and thoughtful people who will work together to build an enduring company that will change the way teams work together.

As an engineering leader, you are responsible for end to end delivery of the Salesforce Field Service Mobile app from development to quality engineering. You should also have experience managing or leading a team with at least 8 developers and quality engineers and successfully delivering products that ship to end users and have experience with the full development lifecycle from design, implementation, and deployment to support. This team is highly distributed so experience managing a distributed team is a must have.

Required Skills:

  • 3 + years experience managing software development teams as an engineering/development manager

  • Certified Scrummaster or demonstrate intimate knowledge and 2+year experience with agile development methodologies such as scrum or Kanban

  • Knowledge of using C++ in cross platform development or other cross platform development techniques on mobile.

  • Android, and/or iOS domain knowledge, including debugging, app store policies, and consumer trends

  • Experience in managing complex projects that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies, especially across teams and release boundaries

  • Strong technical skills in Object-Oriented Programming and Mobile technologies

  • Ability to motivate people, instill accountability, and achieve results

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, impeccable organizational and time management skills

  • Agile, proactive, comfortable working with ambiguous specifications and can prioritize on the fly

  • Experience in short release cycles, the full software lifecycle, and have worked on a product that was actually released for public consumption across multiple releases

  • Bachelor's Degree. Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior development or management experience with cloud computing platforms especially Service related products

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $158,000. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
