Description:

CGBU Session Delivery Architecture team is seeking an experienced software engineer/architect. We are seeking candidates with 7+ years of development experience, with particular focus on data analytics and machine learning.

About us:

CGBU Session Delivery group delivers high availability telecom solutions for both enterprise and service provider markets. We design and support solutions that range from on-premise appliances to cloud-based SaaS applications.

Primary responsibilities:

· Design and develop advanced analytics processes for pattern recognition, anomaly and intrusion detection

· Rapid and continuous learning to support new features and analytics technologies

· Work/Coordinate/collaborate with global development team for feature design and implementation

· Participate in discussions and maintenance to improve overall software capabilities, performance, maintainability, serviceability, and reliability

· Other duties may be assigned

Desired Qualifications :

The CGBU Session Delivery Architecture team is seeking a software engineer with data analytics experience to work on a team that is developing advanced analytic applications that can process massive amounts of network- related data and perform anomaly detection, trending and predictions.

Mandatory Skills :

· Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science

· Programming languages: Python, SQL, PL/SQL, Spark

· Strong understanding of machine learning analytics for anomaly detection, trending, predictions and recommendations.

· Experience in setting up and configuring machine learning environments.

· Experience using data visualization tools

· Experience in training models and simulations

Good to have :

· SaaS and multi-tenant development experience (Docker, Kubernetes)

· Programming languages: R, Java, PMML

· Experience with object storage

· Experience with relational databases – MySQL/Oracle DB

· Experience with micro-services and message based architectures - Kafka

· Prior telecom and networking experience is helpful.

Soft Skills :

· Strong command of spoken and written English.

· Excellent team skills, can-do attitude, focus on quality and drive to make a difference in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
