CVS Health Software Development Engineer in Burlington, Massachusetts

Job Description

Aetna Resources, LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Burlington, MA: Software Development Engineer to contribute to the innovation and delivery of cutting edge application solutions, and translate code into user friendly apps. Assist in the delivery of software projects through technical efforts with cross functional and cross organization teams. Contribute to released applications on the App store. Collaborate on the development of complex systems, including requirements analysis, estimation, design and development, and implementation and testing. Build in test using TDD development. Create user experiences within the mobile space. Implement product features and key technology choices. Promote proper implementation of Agile processes, techniques, and principles. Contribute to the Aetna Health iOS application by writing code in Swift, and contribute unit tests to ensure overall quality and code coverage. Check code into GitHub for source control. Write integration and regression tests and helps with automation and manual testing on both simulators and physical test devices. Test early release builds on Apples TestFlight application.

Required Qualifications

2 YEARS IN SOOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE PARTICIPATING IN DEVELOPMENT OF COMPLEX SYSTEMS WITH AGILE PRINCIPLES, INCLUDING REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS, ESTIMATION, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, AND TESTING; PERFORMING MULTI-THREADED PROGRAMMING; USING SWIFT, OBJECTIVE-C, CONSUME RESTFUL APIS AND PUSH NOTIFICATIONS; WORKING WITH IOS FRAMEWORKS; AND UTILIZING TOOLS INCLUDING GITHUB, XCODE, STORYBOARD, COCOA, RALLY, JENKINS, JAVA, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, REST, JSON, AND XML.

MS in COMPUTER SCIENCE, COMPUTER ENGINEERING, OR RELATED FIELD
