CVS Corp and IT Office Software Development Engineer in Burlington, Massachusetts

Job Description Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Burlington, MA: Digital Development Engineer to Design and develop digital software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; develop and deploy application components, and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Partial telecommuting available. Must reside within commuting distance of office and be available to report to office as required. Required Qualifications Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, thesis, or six (6) months of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java, Python, or Node.js; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Software development lifecycle; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Software development for enterprise or web applications; Web and mobile applications development; Unit and automation testing; Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; and Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
