Job Details

We are looking for an innovative, process and detail-oriented Strategic Portfolio Manager to lead and drive agile Global Support portfolio operations for ongoing initiatives as well as develop a shared Project Management framework, tools and coaching service. In this role you’ll ensure consistency and quality how we plan, track and report on continuous improvement across multiple focus areas in the business. In addition, you’ll own and drive a center-of-excellence site or “hub” to build and scale project management capability across the organization.

This Strategic Portfolio Manager will join our Support Change Management Center of Excellence and work closely with senior leaders in Support Strategy & Operations and Global Support.

Supports organization portfolio planning and forecasting, including:

  • Driving/facilitating annual, quarterly and monthly portfolio reviews, decision forums, and collaboration/delivery sessions

  • Maintaining the portfolio scope of initiatives aligned to strategic objectives to grow the business and increase operational excellence

  • Partnering proactively with initiative owners to prioritize, plan, communicate and align on the delivery of strategic initiatives, driving accountability across cross-functional teams while maintaining positive relationships

  • Maintaining accuracy and integrity of portfolio reporting and metrics, including pipeline, backlog, and active initiative data

  • Updating executive leadership and other senior business leaders on progress being made toward business readiness and business outcomes, from a roadmap and Key Performance Indicator (KPI)/metric perspective

  • Analyzing portfolio data and leadership feedback for improvements and innovation to portfolio management process and reporting

Develops and drives Project Management capability including:

  • Creating a vision and roadmap for Project Management capability within Support and our business partners including roles and responsibilities, methods and practices

  • Developing mature project management service offerings, templates, tools and best practices

  • Owning and driving project management enablement communications, events and channels

Role requirements:

  • 2-3 years of Lean Portfolio Management portfolio coordination or related experience.

  • 3-5 years of Program/Project Management experience.

  • Experience working in Agile/scrum environment.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite and Google suite .

  • Demonstrated ability working with senior leadership and stakeholder management at all levels.

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage the day-to-day program, as well as effectively influence others.

  • Flawless execution of administrative activities, with high attention to detail, organization and process.

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to offer suggestions and improvements to process improvement.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and doing analysis.

  • Ability to present data in a concise manner.

  • Ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs.

  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to continuously acquire new competencies and accept new challenges.
