Software and Services
8+ years experience in project or program management, or similar role on a software or QE team
Excellent project management skills including project structuring and managing multiple work streams cross functionally
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
Solid ability to work effectively with multiple partners across a highly-matrixed, cross-functional organization
Ability to propose and adapt process to accommodate different management styles and situations
Strong leadership skills, including mentor, collaborative problem-solving, and conflict resolution
Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Solid knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs
Detailed understanding of development, test, build and release processes for sophisticated software
You will serve as a train conductor, tracking and coordinating all of Siri’s efforts within an OS release (e.g. iOS 14.5) from feature definition through development and release. You will: Communicate: Provide clear and timely communication, including program status for executives and distilled program guidance for development teams Plan: Create and communicate program schedules, review feature development plans for feasibility, and drive alignment across the organization and between teams Execute: Ensure org-wide adherence to schedule constraints, tracking completion of relevant milestones, reporting progress, and driving planning/replanning activities Problem solve: Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks and supervise risks to schedule and product quality, including cross-functional dependencies Educate: Document, host training sessions, and be a resource for OS development standard methodologies
Education & Experience
BS/MS/PhD CS/CE/EE or equivalent
