About This Role:

The Associate Consultant plays a crucial role in helping manage and deliver consulting projects based on our published research for Forrester's business technology (BT) clients. The Associate Consultant helps project manage multiple engagements that are in flight across the consulting team. He or she will help engage our broad spectrum of consultants and research analysts as needed to deliver our research-based consulting projects to our clients.

  • Act as project manager for multiple projects simultaneously, providing project status updates to our clients, coordinating task completion, and ensuring the achievement of key project milestones.

  • Engage with other members of the BT consulting team to support delivery of high-quality projects to Forrester’s clients.

  • Maintain systems of record with regard to tracking project activities and milestones.

  • Establish relationships with other consulting teams and research analysts to engage for insights and guidance as needed.

  • Facilitate responses to any questions from clients around project delivery and logistics.

  • Partner with other members of the BT consulting team to support creation of high-quality, well-structured, and client-friendly PowerPoint and Excel client deliverables.

  • Achieve personal revenue targets by contributing to the delivery of client projects.

  • Help identify and support internal initiatives for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the consulting team’s operations.

  • Proven project management experience, preferably with formal project management experience or training. PMP certification encouraged.

  • Exposure to foundational areas of IT around infrastructure, applications, and processes.

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, including verbal, writing, and presentation skills.

  • Experience engaging with business leaders.

  • The ability to collaborate effectively with others in high-pressure situations.

  • Experience working with subject matter experts with deep content knowledge.

  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.

  • A demonstrated ability to achieve personal performance targets.

  • Willingness to take initiative and proactively improve internal processes.

  • A strong academic record of achievement.

  • The ability to travel up to 10 days per month.
