InterSystems Clinical Course Developer in Cambridge, Massachusetts

As a Clinical Course Developer, you will build online training course content for InterSystems’ customers and internal staff. You will ensure curriculums and training materials are crafted, updated, and maintained related to the use of our healthcare software products.

You will influence our success by reshaping and redesigning the methods that customers are using to learn our healthcare products, specifically the TrakCare application. With these end-users in mind, you will consider assessment and presentation style.

  • Manage and lead development of online courses for InterSystems’ healthcare technology

  • Maintain existing course materials based on product updates

  • Design and build online course materials and other documents such as quick reference guides and exercises

  • Collaborate on standards of functionality, effectiveness, and appearance for training

  • Partner effectively with Engineering, Customer Support, Account Management, Documentation and Marketing to provide creative and sound instructional solutions to ensure effective use of InterSystems products with focus on TrakCare

  • Experience delivering product/software applications training and courseware development in a clinical practice or healthcare setting

  • Instructional aptitude and mixture of strong technical and interpersonal skills

  • Experience developing e-learning or online courses

  • Presentation skills, strong verbal and written interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability working collaboratively and cross-organizationally

  • Experience in evaluating the effectiveness of training courses

  • Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software/IT concepts quickly

  • Knowledge keeping up to date with meaningful systems, software and training technologies

  • Familiarity with hospital procedures, standard working practices, structure and politics

  • An understanding of change management

  • Formal training in a medical field is a plus (nurse, doctor, EMT, clinician)

  • Experience with tools such as SnagIt, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, or other authoring tools is a plus
