GCP Applied Technologies Command Center Analyst in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Description The GCP Command Center is a group that focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of Verifi. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast moving, complex environment that is highly interrupt driven. A broad spectrum of skills and knowledge are crucial to success – including mechanical engineering basics, technology basics, Excel, problem solving, written and verbal communications. Above all else, the candidate must be able to learn a wide variety of concepts very quickly. Description * Troubleshoot system, data, and API issues identified through customer or internal reports * Provide real time support to internal customers * Provide reporting/analysis to sales and account representatives * Guide technical and non technical customers in the implementation of client software and API set up * Uptime management of software * Translate technical situations into non-technical terms * Develop technical documents and field support documents for trending topics Skills & Competencies * Demonstrated experience in a help desk or client service role * Extremely quick learner with proven skills in trouble shooting * Self-directed, effective at prioritizing tasks, managing time, and getting things done without supervision * Ability to excel in an interrupt driven atmosphere with competing priorities * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization * Action-oriented attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves Experience & Education * Strong skills in Microsoft Excel * Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis a plus * Bachelor’s degree (IT&M related field preferred) Two to four years’ experience in client service, field service or technical support
