As our Global EMaaS (Enterprise Monitoring as a Service) Data Science & Analytics Manager to work as a specialist, in a new business venture for enterprise monitoring as a service. A key part of the value generated to hospitals in this model is our performance customer dashboard. You will collaborate closely with clinical and technical experts to develop advanced reports on patient monitoring system usage, performance and clinical impact. These reports will contribute to the performance dashboard helping customers and Philips understand usage, adoption and achievement of desired outcomes in areas never measured previously.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Measuring how customers are using Philips technology through advanced data analytics on usage, adoption of workflows and achievement of outcomes
Creating a performance dashboard on usage, adoption and outcomes
Reporting on internal performance measures, including asset utilization, service and equipment costs, as well as volume and revenue to plan that are critical to profitability
Developing new concepts, building proof-of-concept demos, validating results with customers and field teams
Interacting with business partners and customers to understand their problems, share insights and validated practices
Identifying gaps and data needs that limit successful measurements of the designed experience
Collaborating with other solution and functional teams (e.g., commercial operations, professional services, clinical education, financial administration) to find practical and ambitious solutions to these gaps and aspirations
Identifying critical success metrics with which to gauge the relative performance and progress of our managed service customers over time
You are part of
Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM), Strategy & New Business Venture, Enterprise Monitoring as a Service (EMaaS). This as a service concept shifts the way customers consume monitoring systems across their hospital enterprises. You will participate in various activities around clinical decision support, real-time diagnostic, clinical decision support, operational workflow improvement, and other healthcare-related applications, focusing on research, development, and evaluation of first-of-kind and prototypes for clinicians and other relevant partners.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Masters in Computer Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field preferred
10 + years related of work experience desired
Experience with programming, data visualization, and healthcare informatics as well as knowledge of physiologic monitoring systems
Strong background into database design, modeling and dynamic visualization
Proficiency with R and/or Python libraries commonly used in data science and SQL query experience as well as Power VI
Solid knowledge and understanding of hospital data flows (e.g., CPOE, EMR, RIS, LIS and PACS) and related data format standards (e.g., HL7, DICOM, FHIR and IHE), and healthcare terms and classifications (SNOMED CT, ICD10)
High affinity with applying new IT platforms and dash boarding software tools for reporting and experience
Python programming experience preferred
Ability to work with cross-functional teams expected
Self-motivated, committing to results, and team-player expected
Flexible and quick-learner expected
Excellent verbal and written communication skills expected
Ability to manage complex projects
Demonstrated operational analytics and financial analysis capabilities
