Want to be part of our nation’s highest national security priorities? The Engineering Operations department is seeking a highly motivated Digital Design Engineer. The Engineering Operations department supports a growing technological ecosystem, boasting over sixty high-tech companies, a leading government lab, cutting-edge academic research, and over 5,000 technical professionals. The Digital Design Engineer will be on the ground floor building out engineering capability to design next-generation strategic missile guidance and control systems that operate in hostile military and space environments, while expanding our nation’s preeminence in microelectronics for national security. The Digital Design Engineer will be a key member of a nationally distributed team, called upon by our government and academic partners to produce exquisite and robust solutions to some of our nation’s most important technical challenges.
Our client is seeking a talented Digital Design Engineer to tackle challenging engineering problems. The Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for delivering solutions to customers in diverse application areas including signal and image processing, hardware security, communications, machine learning, and embedded computing. The Digital Design Engineer will be responsible for the design from concept to delivery while adhering to schedules and budgets. The Digital Design Engineer will contribute to the architecture and design of digital systems incorporating FPGAs and ASICs. The Digital Design Engineer will also work on design verification using SystemVerilog and methodologies such as UVM. The Digital Design Engineer will work in multi-disciplinary teams with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to a variety of projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Strong experience with FPGA, ASIC design, or embedded computing.
Strong understanding of digital design and simulation techniques.
Knowledge of computing architectures.
Familiarity with verification tools and verification methodologies.
Direct experience with digital IC designis preferred.
Experience with FPGA and PCB designis strongly preferred.
Candidates must be a United States Citizen as the laboratory is a cleared facility.
Ability to obtain a United States Secret Clearance is required (active Secret Clearance is preferred).
