Position Title: Strategic Lead, Global Content Business Operations /BO&S
Location : Based in Bridgewater, NJ, Cambridge, MA
The Global Business Operations & Support (BO&S ) Omnichannel group guides GBUs/Markets in achieving Sanofi’s Go-to-Market transformation through the enablement of (1) setting key business strategies and metrics, (2) defining and documenting business requirements informing Digital build and ensuring adoption, (3) providing business framework, tools, templates, (4) providing omnichannel training and upskilling the organization, (5) ensuring a data-driving approach, and (6) fostering a community of omnichannel excellence.
As we push our digital agility, it is important we have strong foundations and one of the most important is to ensure we have seamless ‘end-to-end’ content flow from generation, production, and validation. One of our core pillars is the Content Localization Hub (CLH), designed to deliver a dedicated, agile, fast-to-market content product operation, generating globally consistent and locally relevant high-quality content at scale, pace and low cost.
As we evolve our content transformation, there is a need to promote and define ways of working to accelerate glocal consistency across GBUs/brands. At the same time, we need to continue our evolution toward modular design, tagging, distribution, measurement, AI, templates, etc. We will continue our efforts to focus on the combined foundation of people, process, and technology (with Digital Org) that enables Sanofi to effectively maintain our content lifecycle from start to finish. Our content marketing operations, when properly implemented, will unify Sanofi’s Content ‘Go to Market’ implementation across all GBUs/Markets/Brands and enables marketers to focus on authentic, resonant, consistent messaging that drives impact and growth.
This role, Strategic Lead of Global Content Business Operations, will report to the Head of Content Operations and will drive our strategy and will guide its operational deliveries. This role is both a strategic and ‘hand’s on’ position and focused on the strategy & implementation toward our path of Glocal content excellence.
The Strategic Lead, Global Content Business Operations, residing in BO&S, will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for accelerating our transformation in support of Sanofi’s business content operations across business units, brands, our ambitions, ways of working, roadmap, etc.
Lead content standardization efforts through the development and implementation of our glocal model, partnering with AORs to ensure they are widely implemented and adhered to
Lead all activities related to the implementation of modular content; be the subject matter expert on modular
Lead strategic development of establishing templates, content metrics, tagging/taxonomy harmonization, distribution, DAM, and CLM efforts
Ensure strong connections with the CLH and the AORs
Lead content governance: coordinate content strategy operations rollout with Business, Digital and Regulatory stakeholders
Lead operations initiatives to ensure glocal consistency and across business units/brands
Connect with external partners and seek for external benchmarks to identify content best practices (modular, CLM, etc…)
7+ years, prior experience in the leading of end-to-end content ecosystems, processes preferred pharmaceutical experience.
Solid grasp of leading content operations topics: Modular design, CLM, template development, Taxonomy, distribution, performance measurement
Experience with working with external Agencies around content operation topics
Understanding of content platforms e.g., DAMs, Sales Force Marketing Cloud, Veeva/PromoMats
Brand marketing experience with content knowledge a plus
Ability to collaborate across departments
Experience in an operational or project management roles and collaborating within a fast-paced team environment.

Is deadline-driven and able to pivot quickly on multiple projects without losing speed, focus, or quality.
